Je suis encore en train d'explorer et de découvrir les possibilités offertes par mon 20mm 1.8 en concert. Pas facile à utiliser, mais les résultats peuvent s'avérer très intéressant comme sur cette photo de Louis Winsberg et Olivier Ker Ourio. 

I'm still exploring and finding about the possibilites offered by my 20mm 1.8 for concert photography. Not easy to use, but the results can turn out really interesting as on this photos of Louis Winsberg and Olivier Ker Ourio.

Je suis en train de préparer une exposition de photos de concerts et (sans doute) un petit livre pour l'accompagner. Cette photo de Pedro Kouyaté au N'goni est la première dont je sois sûr qu'elle fera partie de la sélection.

I'm currently preparing an exhibition of my concert photos and (probably) a small book to go with it. This photo of Pedro Kouyaté is the first I'm sure will be part of the final selection.

D'une manière générale, même si nous y avons vu de belles choses, Marrakech n'a pas été l'expérience la plus intéressante de notre séjour au Maroc. Cette sensation d'être avant tout un touriste n'est pas très agréable, et c'est plutôt généralement ce que nous fuyons. Le seul moment vraiment chouette, c'est quand nous nous sommes perdus dans les ruelles de la Casbah, en apparence à des lieues du moindre piège à touriste. Nous y avons rencontré ce musicien gnaoua, au faciès fort sympathique!

Generally, even if we saw some beautiful things there, Marrakech wasn't the most interesting part of our trip to Morrocco. This constant feeling of being nothing but a tourist is not very nice, and not what we seek. The only really cool moment was when we lost ourselves in the alleys of the Casbah, apparently miles from the nearest tourist trap. There we met this gnawa musician, with his eminently happy face!

Quand j'ai acheté mon Sigma 20mm 1.8, j'envisageais essentiellement de m'en servir pour des paysages et des photos de concert en plan large. Je n'ai pas trop eu d'opportunités de faire du paysage avec, par contre, lors du concert de Pedro Kouyaté il y a quelques semaines j'ai enfin pu expérimenter le plan large en concert et je suis assez content du résultat même si la technique est largement perfectible.

When I purchased my Sigma 20mm 1.8, I essentially thought I would use it for landscapes and wide-angle concert shorts. I haven't had too many oppotunities for landscape recently, but during the Pedro Kouyaté gig a few weeks ago I finally was able to experiment wide-angle concert shots, and I'm quite please with the result even if the technique is to be perfected.
